Caitlin Harris, MA, LCMHC, LCAS
As a dedicated mental health therapist, I believe healing happens through authentic connection, compassion, and a safe space where every client feels seen and understood. I specialize in working with children, individuals navigating the effects of trauma, and those on the journey of recovery from addiction. My approach is client-centered, strengths-based, and tailored to each person's unique experiences and goals. Whether helping a child build emotional resilience, supporting someone processing traumatic experiences, or walking alongside clients in recovery, I strive to foster hope, empowerment, and lasting change. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients better understand their thoughts and behaviors, build practical coping skills, strengthen resilience, and move toward the goals that matter most to them. I believe that healing is possible at every stage of life, and I am committed to meeting clients where they are with compassion, curiosity, and respect.
I understand that seeking therapy takes courage, and I am committed to creating an environment where clients feel accepted without judgment. Together, we work to build healthy coping skills, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful progress toward emotional wellness.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy expressing my creativity through painting, finding balance and clarity while running, and getting lost in a good book. My favorite way to unwind is spending time with my sweet puppy, Margot, who is always ready for a cuddle and reminds me daily of the importance of joy, connection, and being present in the moment.
