Colleen Oliver, M.Ed, LCMHCA

Asking for help is really hard, and it’s also really brave. When working with clients, I strive to create a warm, compassionate and safe space for all identities. I believe in taking time to build a relationship based on trust, understanding and connectedness. As a counselor, I work to empower individuals in their process of growth, healing and self-discovery. I feel that I can best support clients by understanding the experiences and systems that have shaped them – things like family, relationships, systems of power and their communities.

I utilize a person-centered approach along with ACT techniques. My specialties include perinatal mental health, early parenthood, anxiety, depression, LGBTIQA+ and multicultural clients. I’m passionate about working with college-aged students and women in their 20s, 30s, and 40s.
