Sammantha Andes, MS, LCAS

I am a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist with eight years of experience.  I have worked with individuals at every stage with their addiction, including clients having difficulty recognizing they have a problem, knowing they have a problem but being unsure if they want to do something about it, actively making steps towards recovery, and being in recovery. I also have experience working with clients that use substances to cope with their anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, and life changes (such as becoming a new parent, getting a new job, and losing a loved one). I have experience working with adolescents, teens, and adults of all generations. Depending on the circumstance, I am also open to working with families supporting someone struggling with substances as well. Sessions will focus on establishing your own personal goals and dissecting what it will take for you to meet them. Treatment modalities such as CBT, REBT, MI, and Smart Recovery will be utilized collectively and a treatment plan will be tailored exactly to your needs and treatment goals.

I recognize that beginning or resuming psychotherapy is a deeply personal choice that is often met with complicated and at times conflicting emotions. No individual is the same and therefore no one's journey to recovery is identical. I work to create an alliance that is built on trust and collaboration, where my clients feel heard, understood, and feel safe and secure as they explore their relationship with substances. Finding a therapist that is the right fit can often feel intimidating and overwhelming. If you are concerned you're developing an unhealthy relationship with substances, are hoping to maintain your sobriety, or are a loved one of someone who is struggling with substances please reach out. You do not have to heal alone.
