Sarah Dixon, MSW, LCSWA

In case you haven’t heard this today, it’s okay to not be okay. My hope is that you find a welcoming and safe space to process the difficult things of life as they come. I also know that growth can be a painful process at times, but you are worth the effort and desired results can be achieved using strengths that you already possess. Maybe there is something from your past that is affecting your way of living right now, or maybe you’re making choices that don’t align with how you’d like your life to ultimately look. Maybe you are experiencing grief & loss, difficult life transitions, self-esteem/relational issues, anxiety, parenting struggles, or depression. You are not alone and we can work to find the solutions you are searching for.

My approach is client-centered and some of the modalities I utilize are EMDR, CBT, Play Therapy, & the Companioning Grief Model. I am also able to integrate faith into our work together if that is something that would be helpful to you. Ultimately, our work is based upon each unique client’s needs and can also include psychoeducation, skill building such as grounding techniques, or other tools that will help promote and sustain holistic well-being.

I currently offer individual in-person or tele-health sessions for children ages 10 and up, teens and adults. I count it a privilege to walk alongside my clients and look forward to meeting you.

Outside of my office hours, you can find me with my two kiddos doing anything related to the outdoors such as walks, swimming, gardening, etc.
